Nick Greenough

Nick is a former Halifax Moosehead and Val-d’Or Foreurs and played in two memorial cups with these clubs. His junior career prepared him for seven years of pro in both the ECHL and AHL. During this time he also attended two NHL main camps with Minnesota and Detroit. Nick played all his minor hockey in the Valley. He is a Valley Wildcat Alumni.
Nick is regarded as one of the elite coaches in Canadian Junior ‘A’ Hockey. His work leading the Valley Wildcats to a Telus Cup appearance and then a Maritime Junior ‘A’ coach of the year award are examples of his expertise and accomplishments. He was named assistant coach for the MHL entry in the Central Canada Cup this season and also recently was named head coach of Team Canada East for the CJHL prospects game. His tireless work ethic and knowledge of the game have enabled him to be extremely well respected in player development. He has had numerous of his players move on to the Major Jr level and CIS/NCAA.
Nick is a resident of Avonport with his wife Jenn and 3 boys Jaxon, Tripp and Jett.

A Berwick native, Charles comes to the Wildcats after a distinguished playing career at the junior, college, and professional level.
After a season with the Major Midget Wildcats where he was named to the leagues’ 1st All-Star team, Charles began a 3 year stint with the MHL's Yarmouth Mariners. During his time in Yarmouth, Charles twice led the league in shutouts, while also being named the leagues’ top goaltender and playoff MVP.
After his junior career came to a close, Charles spent 4 years in the NCAA at Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth he was a 4-time Academic All-American & earned All Ivy League 2nd team honours in 2013-2014.
Charles began last season in the East Coast Hockey League with the Rapid City Rush before returning to the Valley where he provided goaltending instruction for all 3 Wildcat clubs.
Sam Foster

Sam brings over 20 years of experience at the Jr. A level to our organization. General Manager Nick Greenough says "Having Sam on our side makes us instantly better. Nobody puts more time in recruitment and scouting in Atlantic Canada than Sam. He has won championships at this level and knows what type of player it takes to win and what fans in the Valley will want to come and watch.”

Travis Young

Travis is originally from Souris, Manitoba where he grew up surrounded by hockey. During his playing career he played in the Western Hockey League with the Brandon Wheat Kings and Prince Albert Raiders followed by three seasons with the Acadia Axemen. While at Acadia he was named a 2nd team AUS all-star and CIS all-rookie team member after leading all AUS defencemen in scoring during his freshman year. He also attended an Ottawa Senators training camp, but was forced to retire due to concussion issues.
Travis began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at Acadia. After six seasons on the bench with the Axemen, he served as head coach of Miskolc Jegesmedvek of the MOL league in Hungary, the South Shore Lumberjacks of the MHL and the past two seasons with the Valley Wildcats Major Bantam team.
In addition to his head coaching duties with the Bantam Wildcats, he has also served as an Assistant Coach with the Jr. A Wildcats for the past two seasons.
Travis was recently named the head coach for Nova Scotia's Under 14 team that will compete in the Atlantic Challenge Cup this coming October in Moncton.

Pat, an Ottawa native, has been involved in hockey for 24 years. He has a diverse background of scouting, recruiting, coaching, and managing hockey teams from across Canada and in France. His experience at the Junior A, Major Junior and Professional level provides additional expertise to our organization.
