Valley Wildcats Forward and Defensemen Specialty Camp

The Valley Wildcats will be operating a week long Defensemen and Forward Specialty Skills Camp from August 18, 2014 to August 22, 2014 in Berwick at the Kings Mutual Century Centre.

This camp will focus on the essential and fundamental skills needed to be successful at both positions.
Defensemen focus will be on:
Skating, Footspeed, Agility, Pivoting, Gap Control, Body Positioning, Passing, Stick-Checking, Point Shooting, Decision-Making, Using Partner

Forward focus will be on:
Skating, Quickness/Acceleration, Agility, Shooting, Passing, Scoring Techniques, Puck Control, Puck Protection, Support, Other essential skills like cycling, faceoffs, etc.

This is open to players born in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005.

There will be a one-hour session each day, for 5 days.
Date: Monday, August 18- Friday, August 22.
Times: Will be all afternoon sessions From 1:00 pm on- Exact Times TBA
Cost: $140.00 for 5 hours of ice

All sessions will be instructed by T.J. Smith, Head Coach for Valley Major Midget Wildcats and Assistant Coach for Valley Jr. A Wildcats.
